What is EcoVadis
Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability assessments, for performance improvement targeting global logistics chains, creating a global network of over 90,000 rated companies.

The EcoVadis assessment method
The EcoVadis sustainability assessment is a service that makes it possible to assess the impact of the company in terms of sustainability on the basis of concrete data.The assessment consists of a few simple steps consisting in the collection of company-specific information, which is then analysed by EcoVadis CSR experts. The assessment methodology is based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Index (GRI), ISO 26000, and the Global compact principles.

Evidence-based ratings are easy to read using a scorecard system and zero to one hundred points (01-100) and medals (bronze, silver and gold), which show, in addition to strengths, potential for improvement. Companies can make use of these ratings to make their sustainability efforts more focused.
EcoVadis scorecards on sustainability are easy to use and useful for deciding concrete actions. They provide detailed information on the risks related to the environment, work and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement of LANZI SRL, and many other companies, divided into 200 purchase categories and 160 countries.
Through the EcoVadis platform, Lanzi has been testing the processes related to corporate social sustainability since 2015, obtaining since 2018 the Gold Medal and increasing their score year by year.
