Many operators have to handle chemicals such as oils, acids, solvents etc. every day. If these substances come into direct contact with the skin, they can cause skin irritation, hypersensitivity and corrosion damage, and in the most serious cases can cause harm to the nervous system and vital organs.

For these reasons, it is essential to protect oneself and the choice of a chemical protective glove becomes mandatory.

However, choosing the right glove is not so trivial and several aspects need to be considered such as the chemical family of the product being handled, the permeation time to the substance being handled and the type of contact (prolonged by immersion or accidental).

When choosing a glove for chemical protection, it is also necessary to maintain a good balance between mechanical strength and dexterity: the actual conditions of use (movement, tearing, rubbing, etc.) can considerably reduce the actual duration of use.

Chemical protective gloves can be with or without a liner (supported or unsupported): the latter becomes necessary when additional protection is required (against cut, heat, cold, etc.) or when the glove has to be put on and taken off several times during the day (multi-function workers).
