Cookies are short fragments of text (letters and / or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the browser to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even after days (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, according to user preferences, by the single browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).
Types of cookies
There are different categories of cookies, with different characteristics and uses:
a) Technical cookies: these cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the site and are used only to transmit a communication on an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the supplier of a service of the company of the information explicitly requested by the subscriber or by the User to provide this service;
b) Analytical cookies: these are cookies used to collect and analyze the traffic and use of the site anonymously. These cookies, even without identifying the user, allow, for example, to detect if the same user returns to connect at different times. They also allow you to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability. The deactivation of these cookies can be performed without any loss of functionality.
c) Profiling cookies: these are persistent cookies used to identify (anonymously or not) user preferences and improve their browsing experience.
d) Third-party cookies (analytical and / or profiling): these are cookies generated by organizations not belonging to the Site, but integrated into parts of the Website page. For example, the “widgets” of Google (eg Google Maps) or “social plugins” (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, etc.).
The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relevant information to which reference is made, and which for convenience are indicated in the links below.
Types of cookies used
The Website uses the following cookies:
a) technicians developed internally.
b) Analyzers developed internally: AUTH, ATUVS, ATUVC.
c) third-party analytics: Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”), which allows to analyze detailed statistics on visitors to a website. We adopt tools to reduce the identifying power of cookies (IP anonymization: illustration of technical operation at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052?hl=it) and we have configured the service so prevent the association of the remaining portion of the IP address with other data held by Google (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/3379636?hl=it); we have also implemented data retention controls, setting the period to 26 months (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=it). For more information, please refer to the link https://www.google.it/policies/privacy/partners/. The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing on his browser the opt-out component provided by Google (refer to the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Some cookies remain active only until the browser is closed. Other cookies (c.d. persistent cookies) “survive” when the browser is closed and are also available in subsequent visits, and their duration is set by the server when they are created; in some cases there is a deadline, in other cases the duration is unlimited, but you can always delete them from the browser settings.
The technical cookies used are automatically deleted after 24 hours; the AUTH cookie persists one day, the ATUVS cookie persists 30 minutes, the ATUVC cookie persists 30 days.
You can decide whether or not to accept cookies using your browser settings.
The usability of the contents is also possible by completely disabling cookies, with the exception of “session” cookies in case the User wants to authenticate on the reserved area (where present), and the disabling of “third party” cookies does not affect no way the navigability of the Site.
