LANZI SAFETY DISTRIBUTION, the Operations Divisions of LANZI GROUP, has organised, in collaboration with 3M,a Free Webinar entitled: “Mandatory FIT TEST according to the regulatory changes set out in UNI 11719:2018” to be held online on the ON24 platform on Wednesday 14 September 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
The webinar is intended as an opportunity for an in-depth analysis and dissemination of changes to the regulations on Safety in the Workplace, with special regard to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), introduced with the publication of Legislative Decree no. 146 of 21 October 2021, containing "Urgent measures on economic and taxation matters, to protect labour and meet non-deferrable needs" as amended by Conversion Law no. 215 of 17 December 2021 and published in the Official Gazette General Series no. 301 of 20 December 2021.
In particular, in the field of PPE, the changes concern Art. 79(2-bis) of Legislative Decree 81/2008: for respiratory protective equipment reference is made to standard UNI11719:2018, which provides new criteria for the choice, use and maintenance of the equipment and a description of how the adaptability test (Fit Test) must be carried out for all self-contained breathing apparatuses, irrespective of the activities performed.
The webinar will end with a live demo of the adaptability test (Fit Test) that is performed to verify the air-tightness of a respiratory protective device.
