Trade fairs and events in 2023, a new presence with the green stand

2023 was a year of intense trade fair activity, at both local and international levels. Yet we must not forget a faithful “companion” that followed the company everywhere and played an undisputed leading role in these journeys: the new “green stand”.

As in previous years, the LANZI GROUP had an opportunity to explore the market in a “live” version, strengthening business relationships and establishing new, important collaborations. Rendezvous such as these are essential to all companies that want to get in touch with European excellence in terms of innovation, technology, industry.

2023

2023 was anything but a boring year for the company! On the contrary, the LANZI GROUP had the pleasure of attending several trade fair events with its new green stand.

In particular, the last three events addressed all the topics to do with safety in the workplace, personal protective equipment and all the latest developments and strategies to improve employee well-being in the company.

From February to October at the trade fair with the green stand

As usual, the year began with our participation in A&T Automation & Testing, the trade fair dedicated to innovation, technologies, reliability and skills 4.0, held at Oval Lingotto in Turin from 22 to 24 February. The aim of the fair can be expressed with the slogan “from the ideal to the feasible”: offering Italian companies solutions to meet the needs of today’s competitive challenges in the industrial sector.

Protagonists of the event were the Comau and ErgoSanté exoskeletons, as well as the ARGO SMART intelligent vending machines and, last but not least, the new ARGO LINK line of vending machines.

In March, a double date!

On the 8th and 9th, in the city of Katowicach in Poland, the company attended the Targi BHP trade fair, whose purpose is to provide updates on the standards and technologies related to health and safety at work and fire protection.

In keeping with the themes of the event, the LANZI GROUP displayed its “Made in Italy” solutions, from protective gloves to PPE and MRO dispensers.

From 21 to 23 March, we were at MECSPE, an important event in Bologna providing the perfect opportunity to catch up on the main technological developments related to three fundamental topics: training, digitalisation and sustainability. The ARGO SMART intelligent vending machines and Comau and ErgoSanté exoskeletons were sure to be present.

The end of May, from the 23 to the 25, saw the LANZI GROUP at Préventica in Paris, an ideal meeting place and inspiration for all those involved in health, safety and quality of life in the workplace.

On this occasion, the company, clearly identifiable by its new green stand, had the pleasure of introducing the ARGO LINK vending machine line and unveiling its new Safety Systems Hand Protection product: Regen GPE624R.

An event not to be missed was the Safety Expo in Bergamo, on 20 and 21 September 2023, a must for the LANZI GROUP and all those involved in fire prevention, health and safety in the workplace.

At the centre of the event were the QNFT (QUANTITATIVE FIT-TEST) demonstrations for the respiratory tract and, of special interest, the presentation of a new lumbar exoskeleton MATE-XB by Comau. This ingenious support ensures an extraordinary reduction in fatigue and strain in all physical labour tasks that are still necessary in any production activity.

The year then ended on an ideal note with Europe’s largest and most important event in the field of worker safety, protection and health: the biennial A+A trade fair held in Düsseldorf from 24 to 27 October 2023. It was particularly significant for the LANZI GROUP since this is where a new glove from the ISO-SKIN line, the ISO-SKIN GIS955, made its debut. The product has been designed to be even thinner and offer greater sensitivity and a secure grip, without sacrificing high cut and abrasion resistance.

Organisation is key

As the best marketers know full well, the organisation of participation at trade fair involves essential steps, the engagement of people and resources and careful planning (both practical and strategic), while taking care to get across the corporate identity and underscore any new elements.

The company has always been attentive to all aspects that contribute to generate a pleasant and engaging trade fair presence, especially in order to offer value, expertise and comfort to all the guests who are welcomed to its stands.

Challenges and solutions

As in previous years, all the solutions that characterise company assets were presented in 2023, such as the involvement of the various operating divisions, relating to products and services offered by the LANZI SAFETY DISTRIBUTION Division.

In 2023, it also was possible to share significant innovations in terms of brand expansion.

In fact, those who know and have followed the company for some time, in fact, will also be aware of the ongoing efforts to keep in touch with a fast-evolving market. This vision has made it possible to take on new challenges, such as the opening of a subsidiary in Poland and the entry of two new companies into the LANZI GROUP, SICURA and G&CO (Anic Store), specialising in the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE), workwear and safety-related services.

Attention to issues that matter: the green stand

As a company that knows it can have an impact on society as a whole, at the various trade fairs and events attended during 2023, the LANZI GROUP did not focus solely on purely commercial and/or brand expansion aspects. Well aware of its environmental impact, it has set itself the goal of constantly reducing its carbon footprint.

Accordingly, a key element has been introduced in its path of entrepreneurial awareness, long since undertaken in terms of sustainability and green logic: after careful consideration, the company has chosen to equip itself with a stand having a reduced environmental impact, supplied by the beMatrix company.

The structure of the green stand: awareness that goes beyond the notion of zero waste.

The gist of the structure is that it can be reused potentially indefinitely, minimising waste and material consumption. The structure is made up of modules that can be assembled. The lightweight materials used also facilitate and speed  up installation and dismantling operations at the various trade fairs.

Moreover, as a finishing technique for the structure, beMatrix uses “brushing” instead of anodizing so as to avoid the use of strong chemicals (e.g., chrome and sulphuric acid).

Even the choice of fastening pins is totally green: the material used is Zamac (an acronym that stands for Zinc, Aluminium, Magnesium and Copper). By making use of this material instead of chrome, “CO2 emissions are reduced to 1/8, the weight of the pins is halved and the volume is reduced by 2/3 due to the possibility of stacking the various parts.

The floor of the green stand is reusable and brandable

The solution adopted is to re-use, for all trade fairs, the same “stand on floor platform” using modular floor tiles, which is portable, practical and easily assembled.

Almost as in a jigsaw puzzle, the staff can quickly position the platform components without the use of special tools.

The structure also features special interlocking cable ducts, which make it possible to position and conceal the power cables, as well as aesthetic finishing touches designed to highlight the corporate identity of the LANZI GROUP.

Leap year: one more day, one more trade fair

Many projects and new events are in the pipeline for 2024: first-time participation in the BIMU fair in Milan and a double presence at the A&T fair in Vicenza at the end of the year.

On the company’s LinkedIn page you can keep up to date with new trade fair events. The LANZI GROUP will be happy to welcome you to its green stand to tell you about the latest developments and offer the best answers to your needs in terms of safety, health and accident prevention in the workplace.
