Renewed membership in the Global Compact Network Italy

May 2025

In 2023, Lanzi Group chose to join the Global Compact Network Italia, the national chapter of the United Nations initiative dedicated to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.

Two years after our initial membership, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing the ten fundamental principles on human rights, labor conditions, environmental protection, and anti-corruption in an increasingly integrated way. Our ongoing membership in the Global Compact Network Italy is a testament to this commitment.

The United Nations Global Compact

A global network for corporate sustainability

Launched in 1999 at the initiative of then-Secretary-General Kofi Annan, the Global Compact is today the largest worldwide initiative dedicated to corporate sustainability, involving thousands of companies and organizations across more than 160 countries. Its mission is to promote a fairer, more inclusive economy that respects people's and the environment's rights.

In Italy, the Network was established in 2002 and gradually developed until it was founded as the Global Compact Network Italy Foundation in 2013. The foundation aims to provide concrete support to Italian companies in adopting responsible and sustainable practices.

Lanzi Group: A Commitment That Evolves

Since 2023, Lanzi Group has integrated the principles of the Global Compact into its development strategy, recognizing sustainability as a driver of innovation and competitiveness. The renewal of membership in 2025 strengthens a journey built on measurable actions and long-term focus, in alignment with the company’s values:

  • Ensure workplace safety through practical and cutting-edge solutions;
  • Reduce environmental impacts and optimize resource use;
  • Promote a corporate culture that is transparent, inclusive, and responsible;
  • Actively collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and partners to create shared value.

Being part of the Global Compact also means contributing to achieving the United Nations 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), within a framework of continuous improvement and widespread responsibility.

Responsibility, now more than ever

In a constantly evolving global context, Lanzi Group's decision to renew membership in the Global Compact Network Italy represents a declaration of consistency and responsibility. It is a daily commitment to the people, the environment, and our communities.

A membership that looks ahead

Sustainability is not a goal but a guiding principle for Lanzi Group. The renewal of membership in the Global Compact Network Italy confirms a vision that integrates ethics, innovation, and social awareness. It is a continuing journey driven by the desire to leave a positive and lasting impact on the community, on people, and on future generations.
