Founded in 1978 as a family business, LANZI has evolved along organisational, product and positioning lines to become what it is today: a well-established group, a market leader in the PPE and occupational safety sector.
In particular, the transformations that occurred over the last few years made it necessary (and no longer deferrable) to update the corporate identity, i.e., to define a new corporate line that would take into account the changes that have taken place, the expansion of our products and services, and hence the need to target an ever wider public.
To best express these new conditions, a carefully modulated image enhancement intervention was undertaken.
The main factors that motivated LANZI in this endeavour were:
It cannot be denied that, while arising from careful planning, the group’s entrepreneurial choices should also be seen as the outcome of a creative approach by the owners and the management, who together chose to dare and tread new paths in order to take up ever more ambitious challenges. Going over the most recent choices, we cannot fail to mention the acquisition of Sicura and Anic (Lugo, Ravenna), and the creation of a LANZI branch in Poland (with its own dedicated logistics department).
LANZI's move into Poland, which began 15 years ago, concretised in 2023 with the opening of an operating branch in this country. This decision undeniably reflects our intention to serve an ever-expanding market and, from a Central European perspective, with the advantage of proximity.
This translates into an enhanced image in EU markets, which enables the company to establish itself on a solid basis in areas where safety at work is perceived as a fundamental value.
The acquisition in 2023 of Sicura (Lugo, Ravenna), a company specialising in the distribution of PPE as well as in the maintenance of fire prevention systems, and that of Anic, a sales outlet in Ravenna, has further strengthened the LANZI GROUP's role as a leader in the occupational safety sector. The key words were “synergy” and “growth”: the integration of two worlds that are so close to one another they can achieve new levels of excellence by joining forces.
A redefinition of “colour and sign” was undertaken to get across LANZI’s new set-up, extended to include new markets and services, and communicate the important developments that took place in recent years, with a view to disseminating a clear positioning also through (online and offline) visual communication.
With the utmost respect for individual entities, it was decided not to drastically alter the corporate identity, but rather to implement an intelligent upgrade, while keeping the distinctive traits of the LANZI GROUP's corporate identity unchanged. The new visual identity therefore retains a link with our past while looking to the future and the global market.
The new group of brands, which brings together the parent company, the Polish branch, the Lugo-based company and the new sales outlet, marks an important development in the occupational safety sector. This synergetic set-up ensures a stronger organisation and a wider range of high quality services and products. Through the pooling of skills and a focus on customer needs, the group further strengthens its reputation as a reliable and innovative partner, which can offer tailor-made solutions for a safer and more protected working environment.
Other communication materials, such as gadgets, shopping bags and business cards, have also been carefully redesigned to best reflect and highlight the renewal of the corporate image. Each item has been updated with a design that, while reflecting the Group's new positioning, expresses a distinctive style that celebrates the unique identity of each of its constituent elements. This approach ensures visual consistency and visibility, while respecting the unique characteristics of the various corporate entities.
